Job Title: Manager Application Engineer (multiple openings)
Job Location: Houston TX
Job Type: Full Time
Duties: Mentor and lead a staff of engineers in both technical and soft skills to craft a team of highly technically competent consistent thoughtful and customercentric technology experts. This includes ensuring the group is adhering to principles of engineering excellence within their technical domain applying consistency of technical execution sharing common practices and challenges within the team and fostering a culture of excellence and continuous learning within the team. Telecommuting and/or working from home may be permissible pursuant to company policies. Position requires 10% domestic travel.
Requirements: Employer will accept a Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field and 6 years of experience in the job offered Information Technology Software Engineering or related occupation.
Position required skills:Position requires experience in the following: Database technologies including Postgres or Oracle; Monitoring tool including Instana or AppD; Oracle DB or Exadata; SQL/PLSQL and Python; Unix and Linux operating systems including Shell Scripting; JSON; Creating and managing applications with JBoss App Dynamics and Netcool; continuous improvement/continuous development tools including Github and Jenkins.
Position eligible for incentives under Employee Referral Program
Rate of Pay: The base pay for this position generally ranges between $148798 to $180200. Additional incentives may be provided as part of a market competitive total compensation package. Factors such as but not limited to geographical location relevant experience education and skill level may impact the pay for this position.
