You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailThe Department of Counselor Education at Boise State University invites applications for an Assistant or Associate Clinical Professor of Counselor Education with preference for a focus on school counseling; however we also welcome applications for those with a focus on clinicalmental health or addiction counseling. The position will start in the fall semester of 2025. The faculty member will (a) teach a variety of counseling courses including clinical courses such as practicum and/or internship; b) mentor and advise MA students; (c) provide coordination to the school cognate or (practicum; and (d) participate in service activities at the University College and Department level as well as engage in community and professional service activities. We seek to recruit a colleague who promotes equitable access to educational opportunities and is responsive and cares about the success of all students we serve.
The Department of Counselor Education offers a Master of Arts in Counseling with a cognate in School Counseling and a cognate in Addiction addition the Department offers a PhD in Counselor Education and Supervision delivered through an innovative Apprentice Model. Both the Masters and Doctoral programs are CACREP accredited. The Department is housed in the School of Allied Health Science in the College of Health Sciences.

Salary ranges from $60000 to $68000 commensurate with experience. (9month contract)
Our standard faculty contract is a 9month contract (unless otherwise noted) with pay and benefits spread over 12 months. This is a yearly renewable contract unless noted that the position is temporary. More information about faculty contract and work days is available here.
