1.0 Position Summary:
This position is responsible for sorting & cleaning soiled incoming medical devices as well as clean medical containers in a fastpaced production flow process.
2.0 Key Responsibilities and End Results: (Essential responsibilities include but are not limited to the following):
Prioritize ship & receive all available orders daily
Inspect medical device containers
Operate bin washing machinery
Maintain required paperwork i.e. cleaning logs inventories RGAs purchase orders spreadsheets
Handle requests for supplies
Assist in handling customer service issues including identify customer returns
Identify devices currently processed in the facility and discarding devices that are not processed in the facility
Keep individual jobs in tact throughout entire process and perform jobs in first infirst out basis
Must be able to tolerate frequent exposure to body fluids
Complete paperwork for operations completed and document rejects
Status jobs on computer
Maintain process documentation logs and perform maintenance activities
Perform cleaning of devices to a defined acceptable level
Completely clean and disinfect soil sort area at the end of shift
Ability to work as needed in other areas of production
Able to work overtime as needed
Maintain a safe and orderly work area
Keep in compliance of safety measures including the use of gowns gloves and face masks
Know and follow policies and procedures related to work activities performed in area of responsibility
Complete training in area of responsibility. Training is required for changes in existing policies & procedures for new assignments and for implementation of new policies & procedures. Complete required periodic retraining in areas such as environmental health & safety
Assist with training and qualifying other team members to perform a variety of processes and operations
Commitment to building a positive culture

3.0 Job Specifications: The minimum education and experience required to perform this job competently.
Education & Experience Requirements
01 years warehouse or similar experience
Prior experience in the medical device industry is preferred
Able to work with proprietary software system as well as vendor supplied systems including SAP and Critical Manufacturing is preferred
Able to understand and follow Work Instructions
Ability to read write count and understand English
Basic knowledge of FDA and ISO regulations preferred
Willingness to learn and take on additional responsibilities
Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
Excellent hand and eye coordination/dexterity
Ability to learn quickly and to identify logically analyze and solve workrelated problems
Ability to learn overall understanding of process flow and resources within the organization
Ability to function independently as well as part of a team
Ability to manage multiple priorities in fastpaced environment
Ability to maintain high work standards and concern for quality of work
Physical Requirements Needed to Perform Position Functions
Lift/carry up to 10 lbs frequently and up to 50 lbs occasionally
Push/pull up to 50 lbs. occasionally
Bend up to 30 degrees kneel/squat sit and rotate activities occasionally
Twist/turn stand/walk and overhead reach frequently
Torqueing/crimping graspinglight outstretched arm and keystrokes both arms.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to operate a personal computer. Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions short correspondence and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Read and understand visual aid.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Must be able to calculate quantity of parts to be prepped and ready for use at any time. Ability to add and subtract twodigit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10s and 100s.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one or twostep instructions. Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.

The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. An individuals primary workstation is located on the manufacturing floor. The noise level in the work environment is moderate.
