Job Description

Richmond Behavioral Health has a parttime position available for a Certified Peer Recovery Specialist to join our Pregnant & Parenting WomenPermanent Supportive Housing teamto perform intermediate skilled human support work involving the assessment of tenant needs and providing access to needed and appropriate services including treatment rehabilitation and service linkage case monitoring and tenant advocacy functions and related work as apparent or assigned.

Job Duties:

  • Provides support through the transportationencouragementrole model.
  • Facilitates group meetings; composes minutes for meetings.
  • Develops wellness recovery action plan with tenants; develops a plan of care appropriate to the evaluation with the tenant/family consensus; assists tenants in developing recovery goals.
  • Provides and administers medications to tenants.
  • Monitors and assesses tenants mental health status; provides supportive counseling as needed.
  • Provides crisis intervention services.
  • Arranges and provides transportation for tenants to appointments grocery stores offices etc; takes tenants on social outings.
  • Provides documentation of services; provides group notes; maintains medical records.
  • Attends training and team meetings as required.
