Job Description
Job Summary:
The Credit Solutions Specialist is responsible for protecting the financial assets of Wings. They do so by developing and negotiating effective repayment solutions while seeking to improve the members overall financial health. They also serve as a resource and subject matter expert on collections and recovery related topics to colleagues in other areas of Wings.
Essential Functions:
- Demonstrates strong problem resolutions skills with an emphasis on effective communication skills critical listening and deescalation techniques.
- Maintains monthly and yearly delinquency and charge off standards as well as meeting accounts worked incoming call metrics for assigned consumer loan accounts.
- Demonstrates ability to work independently and maintain uptodate assigned collection queues.
- Negotiates repayment arrangements and keeps precise documentation of each contact.
- Negotiates and recommends for approval loan workouts and modifications.
- Makes appropriate referrals for charge off and post charge off activities including legal and collection agencies less complex consumer credits.
- Identify champion and promote departmental and process efficiencies to enhance our service capabilities and our value proposition to our membership.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- College degree preferred.
- 35 years of equivalent financial institution collection or lending experience preferred.
- Ability to write and speak multiple languages preferred.
- Knowledgeable in general lending terms and procedures
- Awareness of applicable collection laws and regulations
- Ability to understand and follow all relevant collection and loan product policies and procedures.
- Working knowledge of computer software including Microsoft Office Skype and collections software and databases.
- Demonstrates effective time management by spending appropriate amounts of time on each collection account and assigned task.
- Multimode communication skills including oral written email and instant messaging.
- Good analytical and problemsolving skills.
- Ability to perform multiple responsibilities with a high degree of accuracy.
- Ability to identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies.
- Ability to keep a professional demeanor while working with a diverse population discussing sensitive confidential information.

Pay Range:$22$27/hr plus 5% annual target bonus. The estimated hiring range is the budgeted amount for this position. Final offers are based on various factors including skill set experience location qualifications and other jobrelated reasons.
