Job Description

Integrity Risk International is a leader in the evolution growth and delivery of risk management services. We are actively looking for an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team in Reston VA. The Accounts Receivable Specialist is responsible for organizing documenting and recording payments from clients using skills in accounting project management organization and person will track payments make banking deposits (as appropriate) and identify and resolve client payment AR Specialist will also work with management to collect past due balances from clients.
The ideal candidate brings proven fullcycle Accounts Receivable experience is highly organized and detail oriented with strong interpersonal skills as they partner with internal and external stakeholders. This is a fulltime position (40 hours per wee with excellent benefits (e.g. health dental vision and paid time off).
What you will do:
Prepares posts verifies and records customer payments and transactions related to accounts receivable.
Creates invoices according to company practices; submits invoices to clients.
Maintains and updates client files including name or address changes mergers terms or mailing attentions.
Drafts correspondence for standard pastdue accounts and collections identifies delinquent accounts by reviewing files and contacts delinquent accountholders to request payment.
Creates Ageing Statements for customer accounts as requested.
Research customer discrepancies and pastdue amounts with the assistance of management.
Assists with reconciling accounts receivable on a periodic basis.
Assists in generating monthly billing statements.
Assists in reconciling revenue accounts each month.
What you bring:
High School degree required; Associate or Bachelors degree in accounting or related field preferred.
Minimum of 13 years of general accounting experience.
Minimum of 13 years of experience working with accounts receivable.
Exceptional knowledge of QuickBooks and Microsoft Office products.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently and in a fastpaced environment.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
