Contract: Permanent (5 days a week onsite)

Hours: Full time

Salary/annum: 37374 Max 45000

Description of role:

TWI seeks a highly organised individual to manage our internal Stores team working within the Purchasing (PUR) department ensuring operational requirements are met and the smooth flow of goods and material into and around TWI is maintained.

The position requires a flexible proactive approach the ability to prioritise workloads in response to changing customer demands and excellent communication skills.

You will be reaching out to existing & potential suppliers to compare prices and terms of goods and services to ensure TWI is getting value for money.

You will be managing 3 members of staff and ensuring all policies procedures and risk assessments are maintained this role will be required to work on site 5 days per week due to the nature of the role.

  • Stores management Manage the daytoday running of the Stores operation to ensure Stores is managed and maintained to a high standard including management of all Stores policies and procedures.
  • Sourcing Review and management of stock levels and sourcing of general stock from external suppliers.
  • Creating reports and identifying trends to reduce costs and improve efficiency
  • Representing the purchasing department at internal and external meetings
  • Customer Service Delivering continuous improvement in service to achieve customer satisfaction through the implementation of added value initiatives
  • Interpersonal Skills Communication with internal customers and colleagues in a way that achieves results whilst maintaining professional relationship
  • Health & Safety Comply with the necessary Health & Safety Regulations within the workplace
