Mission

The IT DevOps Expert is the responsible for providing guidance on how to orchestrate data solutions on the cloud platform. From the data perspective the goal of DevOps is to merge daily tasks involved in the development quality control deployment and integration of software development into a single continuous set of processes.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Ability to analyzes the technology currently being used and develops plans and processes for improvement and expansion. The DevOps engineer
• Participates and provides develops codes builds installs configures and maintains IT solutions. Participates in project planning meetings to share their knowledge of system options risk impact and costs vs. benefits. In addition DevOps engineers communicate operational requirements and development forecasts.
• Performs routine application maintenance to ensure the production environment runs smoothly. Develops maintenance requirements and procedures.
• Recommends performance enhancements by performing gap analysis identifying alternative solutions and assisting with modifications.
• Define the strategy to integrate new/legacy systems in stable pipelines structures. Knowledge of new technologies and tools and the ability to implement and integrate them into their data architecture systems.
• Uses configuration management software to automatically deploy updates and fixes into the production environment.
• Provide infrastructure as code to remove errors perform testing on infrastructure streamline operations faster deployments and flexibility to change and rebuild the entire system within seconds in times of a disaster.
• Tests code processes and deployments to identify ways to streamline and minimize errors.
• Effectively communicate understanding of the data reporting requests and business needs to proactively research solutions and provide suggestions for improvement.
• Provide guidance on how to design and orchestrate data pipelines on the cloud platform hybrid platform or onpremises systems.

Education:

• Degree in computer science computer engineer or equivalent experience.

Languages:

• Spanish Mother tongue.
• English: Fluent (B2 minimum C1 preferred).

Computer Skills:

• Need to have experience developing software applications and a good knowledge of scripting languages such as Java JavaScript Perl Ruby Python PHP Groovy Bash and so on.

Experience:

• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in related position required.
• Experience with cloud architectures: AWS Azure Google cloud Hybrid cloud required.
• Experience in data modelling and database architectures.
• Experience with relational no sql cloud real time streaming datamart datalake databases
• Experience with data integration between APIs (Application Programming Interfaces) required.
• Knowledge of data visualization tools: Power BI Quickview reporting services and ETL tools: talend ODI integration services
• Experience with CI tools as Jenkins Buildbot and Buddy Ansible Terraform Docker and Kubernetes.
• Deep Knowledge with Git.
• Deep knowledge on Big data architectures
