Successful candidates will be invited to lecture in one of the following foundationlevel courses: GNED 1201 Aesthetic Experience and Ideas; and GNED 1202 Texts and Ideas.
The Department of General Education delivers the General Education component within all of Mount Royals baccalaureate degrees. General Education is organized around four thematic clusters. The aims of courses taught in cluster two are to provide students with the opportunity to critically explore the values beliefs and ideas that shape and are shaped by human experience. The foundation courses explore personal and cultural expressions through art music literature philosophy and critical thinking. Cluster two courses aim to provide a broad historical and cultural perspectives. Information on the Department of General Education can be found here:
Qualifications include a minimum of a Masters Degree in a relevant field (normally within the Arts or Humanities) with a Ph.D. preferred and undergraduate teaching and/or professional experience. Qualified Indigenous candidates are encouraged to apply.
