Overview
Seeking casual trainers to cover the following locations to commence 20 May
- Bacchus Marsh (Tuesdays)
- Bendigo (Wednesdays)

About the Role:
Are you a qualified Mental Health worker or work within the Community Services Aged Care or Disability industry Are you a qualified trainer and delivered the Diploma of Mental Health
Stirling is seeking passionate and experienced trainers to join our dynamic team to facilitate our Diploma of Mental Health (CHC53315). Our Diploma of Mental Health is one of Stirlings most popular qualifications with our trainers responsible for delivering handson dynamic training to amazing students from all backgrounds and demographics.
To be able to teach this qualification you must have a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116) and hold Diploma in Mental Health.
What your engagement will look like:
- Your core role is to deliver dynamic training to students support them through their pathway and to mark their assignments. There is no requirement for you to create or write training content.
- Our Training is completed by blended learning (facetoFace within a classroom and online via zoom)
- Support your students as they complete 160 hours of industry work placement as placed for Stirlings Work Placement Coordinators
- Your students could range from school graduates to mature aged members and come from a variety of professional and cultural backgrounds.
- You will be required to work towards Stirlings compliance requirements such as completing attendance registers or supporting surveys.
- The Diploma in Mental Health is delivered one day a week over approximately 12 months.
- This is a contract position payment is on a invoice ABN arrangement and is based on your day of training and other factors such as the number of assignments assessed.

Successful applicants should possess:
- Diploma in Mental Health and significant work experience in Mental Health or related industry
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116) or a willingness to upskill/gain this qualification
- Passion to train and motivate others
- Ability to deliver dynamic engaging training both online and face to face
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Excellent computer/email/Zoom/internet skills
- Drivers license and own reliable transport
- Working with Children Check and ability to take out public liability insurance
- Any other associated qualifications would be highlyregarded
