Job Summary:
We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Clinical Dietician to join our team in Coos Bay OR. The Clinical Dietician will be responsible for assessing patients nutritional needs and providing appropriate dietary recommendations to improve their overall health and wellbeing. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nutrition and be able to work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to develop personalized nutrition plans for patients.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough nutritional assessments of patients taking into consideration their medical history dietary habits and lifestyle
Develop personalized nutrition plans for patients based on their individual needs and goals
Monitor patients progress and make necessary adjustments to their nutrition plans
Educate patients and their families on proper nutrition and healthy eating habits
Collaborate with healthcare professionals such as doctors and nurses to ensure coordinated care for patients
Keep uptodate with the latest research and developments in the field of nutrition and incorporate them into practice
Maintain accurate and uptodate records of patient assessments and progress
Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of nutritionrelated policies and procedures
Adhere to all relevant laws regulations and ethical standards in the provision of nutrition services
Qualifications:
Bachelors or Masters degree in Nutrition or a related field
Registered Dietician (RD) or Registered Dietician Nutritionist (RDN) certification
Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Clinical Dietician in a healthcare setting
Strong knowledge of nutrition and its impact on various medical conditions
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems
Current knowledge of relevant laws regulations and ethical standards in the field of nutrition
