This would include preventative Maintenance diagnosing problems ordering parts and making repairs.

Position Responsibilities
Looking for a detailfocused technical expert who takes pride in a job welldone
- Own: Were not an armyyoull have a chance to learn and take individual responsibility for the equipment in your area. Your skillset will allow you to grow into an expert and to be treated and respected as one. Build knowledge and collaborate with fellow highly motivated technicians.
- Schedule and assign work in area of responsibility. Act as the primary point of contact and manage resources to execute work as efficiently as possible. Work could include one or more of the following trades: electrical mechanical plumbing utilities and metal fabrication.
- Strategize: Plan and execute PMs repairs and updates to equipment to maintain peak efficiency. Use data to drive decision making and focus on permanent fixes not bandaids.
- Customer focus: Work crossfunctionally with multiple teams to diagnose and correct issues as they arise.
- Growth: Develop additional skillsgrow yourself through our internal training and promotion program. Learn new technologies as our rapidly growing site continues to expand to support the worlds needs.
Education and Experience
Youll need to have:
- Highschool diploma or GED
- A technical aptitude
Even better if you have:
- Associate degree in a technical field such as ElectroMechanical
- Relevant experience in Pharmaceutical or Food manufacturing
- Experience with laboratory equipment and repair.
Technical Skills and Competencies Required
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience or training in trades such as electrical mechanical plumbing or utilities.
- Any experience with farm activities especially repairing and maintaining equipment for the welfare of animals is a big plus.
Responsibilities:
- Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on facility and laboratory equipment including autoclaves incubators water systems HVAC systems boilers and building systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with that equipment.
Valued Skills:
- Experience in troubleshooting laboratory and facility equipment.
- Knowledge of HVAC steam water vacuum and electrical controls with the ability to learn and apply maintenance troubleshooting and repair techniques.
Physical Position Requirements
- SAFELY work in an industrial environment using approved procedures i.e. Lockout/Tagout confined space line break right to know PPE etc.
- Have experience in the use of hand and power toolsits Maintenance after all.
- Occasionally lift up to 50 more.
- Work in areas that may be hot cold stinky noisy ultraclean or require additional PPE. May be exposed to temperature variations prolonged standing or walking.
- Valid drivers license may be required.
