As an SDE you will be part of a team that adds new capabilities with multiple visual/audio analytic methodologies. The solutions heavily leverage AI and quantitative analysis to challenge conventional wisdom with hard data. Our SDEs use technology to solve complex problems and get to see the impact of their work firsthand.
In this role you will have the opportunity to exercise your creativity and explore ideas to simulate and quantify any aspect of the customer experience.
Key job responsibilities
Design develop and maintain scalable software solutions for data collection and analysis platforms
Build and optimize automated data collection frameworks across different surfaces (web mobile)
Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to understand requirements and implement efficient solutions
Write highquality maintainable code while following best practices and design patterns
Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical documentation
Debug production issues and implement performance improvements
Work with ML technologies and extraction services to enhance data processing capabilities
Contribute to architecture decisions and technical strategy
Mentor junior developers and participate in teams agile development process
A day in the life
Youll work closely with Product Managers Data Scientists and other engineers to build tools that enable largescale data collection and analysis. Youll tackle challenges ranging from automation framework development to implementing new features for our selfservice platforms while ensuring high performance and reliability.

We are a team of builders that develop products services ideas and various ways of leveraging data to influence product and service offerings for almost every business at Amazon for every customer (e.g. consumers developers sellers/brands employees investors streamers gamers).

3 years of noninternship professional software development experience
2 years of noninternship design or architecture (design patterns reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Java C or C# including objectoriented design
Experience with full software development life cycle including coding standards code reviews source control management build processes testing and operations
3 years of full software development life cycle including coding standards code reviews source control management build processes testing and operations experience
Bachelors degree in computer science or equivalent
Experience building complex software systems that have been successfully delivered to customers
