At the heart of Next we have the HR Tech team supporting all of head office retail finance and our warehouses thats over 50000 people! Oracle was introduced to support such a large and growing workforce and will ensure that our people continue to be at the heart of Next by ensuring we have the software we need to develop current talent attract new talent to join us as well as the oh so important payroll aspects.

About the role

Join us as our Scrum Master and youll be right in the heart of the action bringing the experience and attitude to power better ways of doing business. From leading the way as a dynamic and moral guide for your team to facilitating the Scrum process at every point youre our goto for driving tech efficiency.

Heres the breakdown of what youll do with us:

Inspiring agile practices

• Manage all Scrum events such as the Daily Scrum Sprint Planning Sprint Review and Sprint Retrospective.
• Promote and support Scrum and Agile practices within the team and the wider organisation.
• Embrace the agile mindset and the value of iterations and understand the concepts of product development and customer value.

Managing a team of changemakers

• Ensure that IT and Stakeholders are aligned at all times on the project aims and deliverables.
• Inspire your team of Scrum professionals guiding their ability to make agile decisions and make improvements.
• Coach and support others and be a constant source of knowledge while upholding an environment of respect.

Taking the initiative

• Stay up to date with the latest trends and technologies in the market and take the initiative to keep us ahead of the curve.
• Show that youre comfortable driving our processes forward liaising with your senior team to explore customerfirst solutions.
• Never shying away from a complex or challenging project.

Embracing whats next

• Be the Technical point of contact for the business to advise and guide on proposed development.
• Coordinate the application of new technologies and communicate the benefits of any new developments with clarity and confidence.
