We are looking for a seasoned Product Manager to lead Amazon Music retention initiatives. This individual will lead core subscription and engagement retention activities that will drive a big impact on Amazon Music growth. You will work closely with WW Marketers UX Designers Legal Finance as well as senior leaders to define new initiatives and customer experiences. You will be effective at driving your dedicated engineering team to build the right customer experiences. You will conceive and manage retention initiatives while continuously evaluating opportunities for big ideas and ongoing product improvements.

This position is responsible for owning and developing a clear product roadmap and driving activities for customer retention and will enjoy a high amount of autonomy with the ability to set strategy and implement a diverse set of initiatives and projects throughout the year. In this role you will also be responsible for owning a suite of APIs that power subscription renewals upgrades and downgrades and cancellations.

A successful candidate will be highly analytical excel at influencing broad stakeholder groups and adept at thinking big to develop longterm trajectorychanging experiences that Amazon customers love. This role will require excellent written and oral communication skills strong interpersonal skills datadriven analyses and insights deep curiosity about how things work bias for action and ownership to drive results and a passion for building products and experiences. In this context an ideal candidate will have experience running A/B experimentation at scale and communicate learnings across the organization.

Key job responsibilities
Create and drive the 3year strategic vision for Amazon Music retention grounded in a deep understanding of customer data and insights
Monitor and report on related key performance indicators escalating issues early and providing datadriven recommendations
Drive the Amazon Music retention product roadmap and collaborate with the crossfunctional teams to prioritize and launch new products WW
Leverage data and customer research to identify untapped opportunities and develop product plans to address them
Partner with teams across Amazon (Marketing Payments etc.) to drive innovation and develop new products that will continuously improve customer retention
Drive customer experience and retention through both traditional marketing and Amazon owned retention technology. (e.g. autotargeting for engagement partnering with customer service etc.)
Developing customer insights and following market segment trends closely to anticipate challenges and opportunities.

2 years of end to end product delivery experience
5 years of technical product or program management experience
Bachelors degree
Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition

Track record of achievements. Youve shipped cool stuff that has moved the needle on key business & customer metrics. You have demonstrated success building buyin for an innovative and bold vision.
Datacentric and analytical. You have experience using data and metrics to back up assumptions and assertions of business value. You also leverage your analytical skills and ability to dive deep to develop a nuanced understanding of your product and customers and to create effective strategies. You also have a demonstrated ability to make high quality/high impact decisions in the absence of data and figure out how to gather data (through experiments tests etc) to support your decisions.
Technical fluency. You have the ability to understand discuss and challenge architectural concepts tradeoffs and new opportunities with technical team members.
Experience leading crossfunctional teams to deliver products
Experience effectively influencing senior leaders (VP SVP Clevel)
Thinks strategically but stays on top of tactical execution
MBA or masters degree
A passion for music!

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $136100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $235200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on jobrelated knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered equity signon payments and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits.
