Job Description

We are looking for an Air and Missile Defense (AMD) Engagement Operations (EO) Development Team Product Owner (PO) to join our team in supporting the Integrated Fires Mission Command (IFMC) Project Office.
Your daytoday work will include:
- Prioritizing and validating the development software for the Engagement Operations team.
- Reviewing and understanding Systems Engineering concepts designs and algorithms and providing guidance to the development team.
- Working with Program management in setting priorities for the capabilities and defects of the team for each planning interval and sprint.
- Technical briefings and advisement to leadership on the status and recommended courses of action competing capabilities performance risks and impacts on the IFMC mission.
- Other duties as assigned.
At a minimum you should have:
- US citizenship and residency near Huntsville AL or be willing to relocate.
- An active SECRET security clearance and ability to maintain.
- A basic understanding of Engagement Operations (EO) concepts including engagement planning/scheduling threat evaluation target selection battlespace prediction and sensor resource management.
- The ability to provide oversight to an EO SW development team and verify the teams work based on agreedupon acceptance criteria including attending code reviews.
- Able to work directly with the Agile software developers.
- Fluent in the Microsoft Office toolset.
- Bachelors degree (or advanced degree) from an accredited college (ABET preferred) in engineering the sciences or mathematics.
- Minimum of 7 years combined Government/DoD experience in performing the essential duties listed above.
You will be highly desirable if you have:
- Knowledge in IBCS PATRIOT MEADS THAAD C2BMC or AEGIS and familiarity with current EO implementations in one or more of the DoD services is a plus.
- Prior Product Owner experience on a SCRUM team is an additional plus.

Estimated Salary Range: $110000$188000
The provided salary range serves as a broad reference. However Intrepid takes various factors into account when establishing base salary offers including the positions scope and responsibilities as well as the candidates experience education skills and prevailing market conditions.
