FirstLine Products & Services Quality Manager (Level K)

Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking FirstLine Product & Service Quality Managers to join the 777 Quality team on 1st 2nd and 3rd Shift in Everett WA.

The Quality Manager will oversee inspection activities production control process improvement and Lean/BPS initiatives. This role involves regular interaction with the crossfunctional production support team Operations senior leadership and regulatory agencies. The position requires strong leadership and interpersonal skills as well as the ability to proactively identify issues and develop corrective action plans that drive defect elimination and enhance firstpass quality.

The selected candidate will be a reliable and skilled professional capable of collaborating effectively across business groups and organizational boundaries. They will successfully implement solutions in a dynamic environment by leveraging problemsolving skills data and analysis to inform decisions. Transformational leadership abilities are essential for fostering team engagement and guiding quality team members in executing key initiatives including the One Boeing Production System Defect Reduction and Lean Manufacturing. The ideal candidate will demonstrate resilience and tenacity in driving improvements within an established and regulated production and quality system.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Manages develops and motivates employees who evaluate and ensure that products services and processes comply with customer contract requirements engineering requirements company procedures and government regulations.

  • Develops and executes business plans policies and procedures and develops organizational and technical strategies to improve performance.

  • Provides education and coaching on the Quality System.

  • May make airworthiness determinations on behalf of the company and regulatory agencies.

  • Acquires and manages resources and leads process improvements.

  • Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers stakeholders peers partners suppliers and direct reports

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 3 years of experience in a productionrelated discipline such as Manufacturing Quality Production Engineering Supplier Management and/or Supplier Quality

  • 3 years of experience in Quality Management System (QMS)

  • 1 years of experience leading teams in a formal and /or informal setting

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications (Word Excel and PowerPoint)

  • Must be able to work any shift based on the needs of the operation.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Experience working with AS9100 and/or similar QMS standard

  • Experience leading teams including crossfunctional teams

  • Experience in root cause analysis/systematic problem solving

Shift:

Candidate may be selected for 1st 2nd or 3rd shift. Shift will be determined at the time of offer.
