Job Description
Export Regulatory Affairs Specialist Japan position available at Ag Partners Cooperative Inc. in Overland Park Kansas. To apply submit resume and cover letter to: Lacey Dalinghaus SVP Human Resources at201 North 6th Street Seneca Kansas 66538 or by email to Job Duties: Applying specialized knowledge of Japanese regulatory issues related to soybeans such as green biotechnology soybeans cultivation and genetically altered soybeans postmarket regulation establish the regulatory framework for Ag Partners U.S. foodgrade soybeans exports to Japan to ensure compliance with applicable export/import regulations. Research and interpret Japanese export/import laws and regulations advise Ag Partners team re. applicable standards and changes including premarket regulations export and labeling specification batch records test methods clinical studies and other applicable regulations. Coordinate Ag Partners soybean exports to Japan including planning and regulatory compliance. Prepare regulatory agency submissions and responses to the responses to Japanese government requests for information such as product data written regulatory affairs statements surveys and other applicable documentation. Coordinate North American soybean cleaning/processing plant site visits to ensure compliance with Japanese regulatory food safety requirements. Develop or track quality metrics; contribute to employee and supplies regulatory training. Act as a liaison regarding contracted shipments to Japan. Travel to Japan and across North America. Minimum Education Requirement: Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent in Business or Law. Minimum Experience Requirement: 3 years of experience conducting trade in Japanese food soybean markets. Travel Requirement: 2530% travel required including international travel to Japan and across North America to various locations to facilitate the business.
