Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Policy Specialist (Lead) to provide subject matter expertise in cybersecurity policy and compliance. In this role you will apply advanced principles methods and technical knowledge to support complex projects ensuring compliance with federal regulations and industry best practices. The ideal candidate will work independently with minimal oversight while delivering highquality reports briefings and analysis to internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical knowledge and analysis to support functional areas of IT and cybersecurity projects.
  • Develop solutions for complex cybersecurity and IT policy challenges.
  • Contribute to cybersecurity project teams ensuring successful delivery of program and task order requirements.
  • Develop and present cybersecurity reports documents and briefings while advising on industry best practices.
  • Conduct indepth research to resolve complex issues and provide wellinformed recommendations.
  • Lead cybersecurity data calls monitor data request requirements analyze collected data and articulate results for a diverse audience including senior leadership and external stakeholders.
  • Assist in interpreting and implementing IT public policy initiatives including longterm strategy development legislative tracking and policy recommendations.
  • Meet regularly with clients to relay progress establish priorities and align project objectives with mission goals.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in IT policy cybersecurity or a related field.
  • Bachelors degree preferred in a relevant field (or equivalent experience).
  • U.S. Citizenship required.
  • Public Trust clearance with a HighRisk IT sensitivity level (Successfully adjudicated National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI)).
  • Strong ability to work independently and deliver nearfinal products with minimal oversight.
  • Excellent analytical research and communication skills.

Physical and Mental Qualifications:

  • Maintain focus and awareness throughout scheduled working hours.
  • Perform tasks requiring prolonged periods of sitting or standing at a desk utilizing a computer mouse and keyboard.
  • Lift and move objects weighing up to 15 pounds as needed.
  • Exhibit excellent verbal and written communication skills with a strong command of the English language.
  • Demonstrate the ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively as part of a team.
  • Quickly learn and retain routine tasks and processes.
  • Possess strong organizational skills attention to detail business correspondence proficiency and selfmanagement capabilities.
  • Perform the essential functions of the role satisfactorily; reasonable accommodation will be provided for employees with disabilities upon request.
