Amazon Advertising seeks the worlds brightest and best technical engineers to drive nextgeneration solutions that enable advertisers to reach customers across our owned and operated sites on other highquality publisher sites across the web and on millions of desktops mobile and connected TV devices. Amazon DSP (ADSP) is Amazons programmatic advertising product for campaign spanning Display Video and Audio across Amazon properties (e.g. IMDb TV Twitch Fire TV and Amazon Music) and tens of thousands of thirdparty (3P) websites and apps. We seek candidates who want to join a team focused on building largescale systems that integrate across multiple sources to provide unique advertising products. These products give advertisers the controls and data necessary to improve the relevancy and performance of their ads.

Key job responsibilities
* Design and build fullstack solutions.
* Use your problemsolving skills collaborating with creative and technical teams thinkingbig and inventing and simplifying to solve challenges.
* Deliver novel customer experiences by developing solutions.
* Collaborate with teams across Amazon to integrate and optimize existing ad products to take advantage of Amazons scale and reach.
* Leverage your technical ability excellent organizational and communication skills to build and solve challenging and ambiguous problems. Youll use your ingenuity and motivation to achieve results in a fastpaced environment.
* Provide guidance to and mentor other SDEs in the team.
* Be responsible for high quality bar ensuring quality design reviews and robust engineering practices for automated testing and code coverage.

Key job responsibilities
In this role you will

Be heavily involved with design and product teams to understand needs propose features create early prototypes and transform them into impactful and exciting experiences.
Propose innovative tools frameworks automations and processes that are used by the Recommendation Optimization (ROX) team and the larger FORGE organization.
Write clean maintainable code and perform peer codereviews.
Deepdive into client or server systems to optimize for performance maintainability scalability extensibility as needed.
Mentor your team members to promote engineering excellence.


About the team
The Recommendation Optimization Experience (ROX) team helps advertisers achieve their business goals by delivering insights and recommendations via Console and APIs that are personalized to the advertiser easy to understand contextually relevant simple to adopt and fully optimized to grow the advertisers business.


3 years of noninternship professional software development experience
2 years of noninternship design or architecture (design patterns reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
Experience programming with at least one software programming language
Experience building complex software systems that have been successfully delivered to customers
Experience designing or architecting (design patterns reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems
Experience with full software development life cycle including coding standards code reviews source control management build processes testing and operations

3 years of full software development life cycle including coding standards code reviews source control management build processes testing and operations experience
Bachelors degree in computer science or equivalent
