Job Description
- Exciting opportunity to join the management team and work closely with our experienced After Hours Team.
- After Hours Coordinator for an Elective Surgery Hospital
- Permanent fulltime positions available:Night Duty
About the Role
This is a key leadership position that is accountable for efficient and effective operational management of the hospital afterhours.
- Support and contribute to planning implementing and evaluating care practices processes and services.
- Ensure compliance with policies procedures and legislative requirements to uphold best practices.
- Collaborate with Shift Leaders and Clinical Managers to achieve excellence in care delivery.
- Lead and inspire a dedicated team of nurses to deliver highquality patient care.
- Work closely with onshift doctors to ensure optimal patient outcomes and adherence to best practices.
- Report directly to the Director of Clinical Services contributing to strategic goals and objectives.
About You
To be successful in this role you will be a positive and effective leader with the ability to motivate others. You will thrive in a fastpaced environment and be able to coordinate and motivate a large team of clinical and nonclinical professionals.
You will also bring;
- Relevant qualifications and Registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
- Minimum 5 years postgraduate experience within Acute Care.
- Demonstrated ability to be an effective role model in the area of clinical practice
- Sound Computer skills in MS Office suite (Word Excel and Outlook)
Remuneration: On offer is base hourly rate ranging from $62.53 superannuation based on experience level and qualifications exclusive of penalties or allowances
