Job Description

Introduction

A leading automotive component and specialized fastener supplier wishes to employ a Technical Sales and Business Development Executive in Durban and another in Gauteng todrive business growth in the logistics and industrial parts & components sector with a strong emphasis on understanding the full value supply chain. This role requires expertise in technical sales logistics management and relationship building to deliver tailored solutions for clients in industrial manufacturing and equipment supply.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Sales and Business Development
  • Client Relationship Management
  • Logistics and Supply Chain Expertise
  • Market and Competitive Analysis
  • Sales Pipeline and Reporting
  • Negotiation and Problem Resolution
  • Team Collaboration

Requirements:

  • Matric with tertiary qualification in Business Logistics Supply Chain Management Engineering or a related field technical qualifications (e.g. N3/N4 Electrical Light Current or equivalent)
  • Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in sales logistics or supply chain management ideally within the industrial parts & components sector
  • Handson experience with logistics processes such as material replenishment supplier performance management inventory optimization or transportation coordination.
  • Familiarity with supply chain challenges and opportunities in industrial component distribution
  • Ability to manage budgets forecast sales and mitigate supply chain risks effectively
