JOB GOAL: To create an environment that encourages students to learn take risks become selfadvocates and productive members of society in accordance with DESE standards for effective RESPONSIBILITIES:Must have the ability to:teach courses such as CAD/CAM Project Lead The Way Essentials in Engineering and Manufacturingcreate a classroom environment that is conducive to learning and appropriate to the maturity and interests of studentsplan and implement lessons based on the curriculum that meets the needs and abilities of students to whom assignedutilize specific instructional strategies and practices that allow for the differentiation of instruction to meet the needs interests and abilities of various learners use instructional technology appropriately and work with students to facilitate their use of instructional technologyuse reasoning ability to evaluate assessment data and determine/recommend an appropriate course of actionuse contemporary professional literature evidencebased research and continuing education content to make practice decisionestablish and maintain effective working relationships with students parents staff and the communityestablish and implement classroom rules and expectations for classroom behavior that maintain order in the classroomwork collaboratively with colleagues students and familiescommunicate clearly and concisely both in oral and written formeffectively present information and respond to questions from groups including staff parents and the general publicwork independently prioritize tasks and manage several projects simultaneouslyperform duties with awareness of all district requirements state and federal laws and Grafton Public Schools policieswork with students of diverse backgrounds with diverse needs in an equitable and inclusive manner plan coordinate conduct and participate in ongoing professional and staff duties as assigned by the building principalTERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Salary and work year as established by the Grafton School Committee. EVALUATION: Annual evaluation for performance of this job will be completed by the Building Principal or his/her designee
