Who Were Looking For:

Job Requirements and Qualifications (education and experience):

QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. Education and/or experience equivalent to a Bachelor degree with at least two (2) years of work experience in area of benefits
  2. Prior experience in human resources compliance including FLSA FMLA ADA Title IX investigations etc.
  3. Knowledge of principles practices and techniques of Human Resources administration
  4. Knowledge of compliance rules and regulations related to ACA HIPAA COBRA etc.
  5. Knowledge of district policies and programs
  6. Skill in interpreting and applying federal state and local policies procedures laws and regulations
  7. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships
  8. Ability to communicate clearly and concisely

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

(Essential functions as defined under the Americans with Disabilities Act may include any of the following tasks knowledge skills and other characteristics. This list is ILLUSTRATIVE ONLY and is not a comprehensive listing of all duties and responsibilities performed by the incumbents of this class.)

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Recommend implement and administer district policies regulations and procedures related to assigned areas.
  • Assist the Superintendents designee as a designated ADA compliance officer and complaint investigator for the district.
  • Assist the Superintendents designee with legal and human resource administration issues related to benefits administration including but not limited to; medical unemployment workers compensation.
  • Oversee and direct the daily operations related to classified staffing.
  • Serve as the lead on the Insurance Trust committee attend and participate in professional groups and committees and make presentations.
  • Acts as a liaison with carriers vendors and consultants on various matters such as plan design contracts compliance eligibility and renewals and oversee payment of all carrier premiums claims and administrative fees.
  • Responsible for providing record keeping procedures for hourly employees consistent with Fair Labor Standards Act.
  • Coordinate record keeping procedures for OSHA compliance.
  • Perform other duties as assigned

WORKING CONDITIONS:

Fast paced general office environment

May need to drive to other sites to complete work assignment

DEPARTMENT: Employee Experience Enterprise Human Resources

SALARY: $80000 $90000 The actual salary for the successful candidate will be determined during contract negotiations and will be based on experience and professional preparation.

WORK YEAR: 12 Months

REPORTS TO: Superintendent or Designee

EVALUATION: Administrative Evaluation

SUPERVISES: HR Application Support Analyst and/or HR Associates
