Do you want to be a part of the critical infrastructure in todays growing technologyVishay Dover New Hampshire is currently seeking a fulltime Maintenance Technician responsible for all maintenance requirements associated with a 35000squarefoot manufacturing facility and grounds. We are looking for a technician with experience and skills in equipment and facility maintenance.

Were located southwest of downtown Dover which is the largest city in the New Hampshire Seacoast region the oldest permanent settlement in New Hampshire and the seventh oldest in the U.S.A. Were less than seven miles from the main campus of UNH and another fun fact is that Dover even was the birthplace of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles franchise.
What you will be doing:
- Supporting a 35000 square foot facility as it relates to the building grounds front office and production floor. This responsibility includes but is not limited to custodial and maintenance tasks associated with compressed air electrical emergency preparedness and safety HVAC plumbing and production equipment as well as overseeing outside contractors.
- Maintaining adequate level of inventory and organization of spare parts for all site equipment.
- Serving as a member of the EHS team and administering site EHS systems including overseeing collecting storing and shipping plant waste streams.
- Serving as a member of the Safety Team.
- Assisting engineering and production teams with executing floor layout changes introducing new equipment and completing large and small continuous improvement actions.
What you will bring along:
- Associate/Technical Degree in Electrical/Industrial/Mechanical Engineering or Technology preferred or equivalent experience.
- 5 years related facility maintenance experience
- Knowledge of hazardous waste regulations and ability to interface with governmental agencies. Previous certifications preferred.
- Electrical and plumbing knowledge/schooling.
- Selfmotivated excellent computer interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to lift/move heavy equipment (up to 75 pounds).
- Ability to perform all work functions with required PPE.
