Were looking for a Mechanical Engineer to join our talented engineering team in Logan Utah. In this role youll take part in the entire product lifecycleresearching designing analyzing and supporting the production of sensor technologies that make a realworld difference. What Youll Do
- Develop and support pressure level and other sensor products from concept through production
- Design and analyze components using SolidWorks or Solid Edge and FEA tools like ANSYS or COMSOL
- Apply Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) to optimize product performance and cost
- Collaborate with sourcing quality and production teams to ensure smooth product launch and lifecycle support
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges across new and existing products
- Maintain detailed technical documentation drawings BOMs and specifications
- Support sales and marketing with technical insights and custom solution development
- Coordinate with external labs for standards testing and certifications when needed
What You Bring
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) or a related field from an ABETaccredited university
- 4 years of experience in sensor design and/or manufacturing
- Proficiency with CAD (SolidWorks or Solid Edge) and FEA tools
- Familiarity with manufacturing methods including CNC machining TIG or laser welding
- Experience with ERP systems technical documentation and root cause analysis
- Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly present technical information
- A handson problemsolving mindset with attention to detail and a drive for innovation
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with sensor types such as piezoelectric capacitive or MEMS
- Familiarity with adhesives and materials used in sensor assembly
- Understanding of environmental testing and hazardous location certification processes (UL CSA etc.)
- Background in designing pressure flow or temperature sensors
