Job Description

Exceptional Family Resources is seeking an experienced Direct Support Professional (DSP) to work with an active young man with a developmental disability. In this role you will help him learn key independent living skills and experience social opportunities in the community along with implementing behavior management strategies.

Previous Direct Support Professional experience highly preferred. Experience or knowledge in special education or caregiving is beneficial. Knowledge of implementing behavior strategies.

Saturday and/or Sunday Flexible hours available


Payrate: $24.00


Location: Fayetteville

Responsibilities include but are not limited to assistance with independent living skills support with health and safety and pursuing personal interests. Prior experience working with individuals with disabilities a plus. A reliable vehicle and a valid NYS drivers license are required. EFR is an Equal Opportunity Employer.

Background check fingerprinting and DMV record check will be conducted prior to hire by the nonprofit agency.
