Key job responsibilities
A big part of building Indias most customercentric entertainment destination is engaging with customers and fans via social media to help them discover and enjoy all that Prime Video has to offer. The Sr. Social Media Manager will be responsible for designing Prime Videos social media strategy and working with teams both internal and external agencies to bring it to life. This person will be responsible for delivering measurable business impact through social media marketing and engagement.
End to end ownership of Prime Videos social brand channels and strategy across Facebook Twitter Instagram and YouTube and others including execution of activations from concept to postimplementation analysis
Work closely with global teams & local marketing teams to build a strong locally relevant social media campaigns to drive high buzz
Constantly iterate and maintain Amazon Prime Videos personality and social tone of voice to stay relevant to fans and customers. Ensure consistent brand positioning and tone of voice across all platforms.
Build and leverage locally and cultural moments to make brand Prime Video relevant to Indian audiences
Collaborate and maintain close relationships with crossfunctional teams to maximize the impact of social media efforts by ensuring alignment in communications across channels
Find new and exciting ways to engage customers via social media channels to drive awareness conversation and affinity for the Prime Video brand and its content
Analyze and report social channel and activation performance to quantify the effectiveness of campaigns and drive scalable learnings
Work with International product and marketing teams to build automated and scalable solutions to drive social media engagement. This person in this role will be working closely with global social media teams across Amazon with ample opportunities to both share what we are learning while at the same time learning from others
Liaise closely with content partners and media agencies to plan and execute campaigns
Set an experimentation calendar and constantly test hypothesis to develop an editorial strategy for Prime Video
Be the business POC for social media customer service team. Constantly improve processes to maintain a highbar on customer interactions and satisfaction
Work with platform partners to ensure the business is adopting the latest product features and best practices
Expand Prime Videos brand presence on emerging and INspecific social platforms
8 years of professional noninternship marketing experience
Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation macros charts and pivot tables)
Experience building executing and scaling crossfunctional marketing programs
Experience building and optimizing multiple simultaneous marketing campaigns
Experience managing or working within crossfunctional marketing and creative teams
Experience in multiterritory campaign management
Experience in digital marketing and content production timelines and process
