This role will suit an individual who has experience of underwriting Commercial Motor insurance and who is also interested in developing relationships with brokers and customers! The role will also suit an individual who has an analytical mind and is confident interrogating data to identify trends using tools such as excel.
A bit about the job:
The role will be part of the GCS Motor team which operates from London Leeds and Manchester and will be responsible for underwriting new and renewal business contributing to the overall GCS financial plans. Underwriting responsibilities will include the application of risk assessment and selection pricing agreeing coverage and terms!
The successful candidate will need to work closely with other areas of Aviva including Claims Client Relationship Management Distribution and Risk Management to create tailored propositions for GCS customers who are typically UK based with an annual turnover more than.
Skills and experience were looking for:
A strong background of underwriting Motor Fleet covers either for SME or Corporate clients
Broker facing experience
Analytical skills to support decision making and problem solving.
Excellent communication skills
Proactive and selfmotivated
