As ENG/EFP Camera Operator you will operate portable mobile cameras as well as peripherals to develop and conceive photography and visual effects via framing and original camera shots with a view to meeting and anticipating the programs desired objectives as well as artistic dramatic and other intentions. You will also be responsible for coordinating the installation and verification of the equipment under your control as well as the transfer of the collected material.
Please note that you will be required to work various shifts during the week and on weekends.
Your profile:
Qualifications:
College diploma (DEC) in Television Production and Postproduction Techniques or other relevant DEC
Three (3) years or more of related experience in news production and shooting and/or field broadcasting
Skills:
Strong editing experience (knowledge of Avid and Premiere is an asset)
Demonstrated knowledge of editing audio lighting camera operation and computing
Excellent command of spoken and written French
Ability to work effectively within a team
Creativity and initiative
Ability to make quick independent decisions
Knowledge of and interest in current affairs in the Estrie region
Experience in digital production is an asset
Good knowledge of English is an asset
Possession of a valid Class 5 drivers license and a driving record that meets CBC/RadioCanadas insurance company requirements
