You will lead the plant Facilities Utilities & Ingredient Handling operations guaranteeing the reliability of services across the building and the manufacturing processes within and delivering key performance targets in safety quality productivity volumes cost sustainability and organizational morale.
You will ensure our manufacturing strategy is implemented and is fully effective and you will strive to build a high performing organization.

How you will contribute

You will:

  • Support the 24/7 manufacturing operation by effectively leading the Facilities Utilities & Ingredient Handling operations across the Portland bakery.
  • Effectively manage the facilities & utilities budget partnering with Maintenance Manager Sections Managers and 3rd party providers.
  • Provide support expertise and guidance to your team the rest of the Maintenance department and the Engineering team.
  • Manage portfolio relationship and work execution of 3rd party providers according to Mondelz standards.
  • Implement worldclass manufacturing and maintenance practices. Implement IL6S (Integrated Lean 6 Sigma) program.
  • Deliver yearoveryear operational savings. Implement practices and governance to drive continuous improvement and zeroloss mentality.
  • Develop selfsufficient teams and a highperformance organization. Effectively manage the talent capabilities and engagement of the team. Implement levers to attract retain and develop talent.
  • Be a champion and role model of servant leadership.
  • Be a champion of Mondelz manufacturing standards compliance requirements quality and safety policies and all applicable regulations.

  • Significant experience in leading manufacturing performance in a fast moving manufacturing environment withexceptional results (FMCG experience) with a career that has seen time at the Front Line and/or ManufacturingManager level. Demonstrable and intuitive knowledge on fundamentals of good manufacturing practice processimprovement and optimizationReconfiguration and imbedding of new or enhanced technologyManaging Costs andVariance Motivatorsand engagement levers for shop floor based performanceexperience in TPMTotal productivemaintenance 5s LEAN 6 sigma tools and concepts
  • Excellent communication (verbal & written) coaching and leadership skills in a teambased abilities in Analytics problem solving and team building with a strong financial & business acumenproject management skills and Knowledge of industrial maintenance and manufacturing equipment.
  • Experience in interfacing with the broader Supply Chain and Commercial functions and a high level of capabilityaround managing relationships and outcomes with Demand Planning Supply Planning Logistics Customer ServiceCategory and Sales.

Education / Certifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering.

Job specific requirements:

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in a maintenance role with at least 5 years of experience in utilities management (HVAC water/sewer systems gas systems pumps boilers electrical systems compressors instrumentation infrastructure safety requirements/regulations etc) including maintenance management software preferably within a manufacturing setting.
  • 5 years of maintenance leadership. Success record in developing maintenance systems and portfolio of 3rd party providers.
  • Success record developing teams and talent as well as developing a continuous improvement culture.
  • Strong analytics and problemsolving skills.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to communicate to all levels of the organization. Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Solid finance acumen.
  • Strong customer service mindset.
  • Highly motivated and selfdirected with strong influencing and leadership skills.
  • Transformational mindset.
  • Preferred: TPM expertise CPG/food manufacturing experience bulk ingredients delivery systems unionized environment.

Work schedule Onsite : Must have schedule flexibility

The base salary range for this position is $106300 $146200; the exact salary depends on several factors such as experience skills education and budget. In addition to base salary this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results.
