The Senior Account Manager for the Southeast Region serves as the primary relationship owner for an assigned group of top tier construction client accounts with responsibilities for retention and growth.
Primary Responsibilities:
Manage multiple accounts; develop positive working relationships with all customers and construction contractors.
Serve as subject matter expert of construction contracts proposals and operations to drive client retention renewals upsells and client satisfaction
Oversight of project support including scope development material takeoffs fromplans and specifications proposal review and construction management
Work closely with and manage Account Managers on daytoday operational processes includingbut not limited to contract renewals prepare and maintain schedules to accomplishprocurement objectives troubleshooting provide software training to client andcontractor staff
Identify root cause of customer success andfailures alongside Account Managers and drive requirements for process enhancement and development as needed
Partner with internal crossfunctional teams to understand customer goals and keyperformance metrics and exceed those goals yearly.
Provide input on new processes and workflow as needed
Focus on ensuring we maintain superior customer service levels operationalexcellence and strategic insight.
Work closely with Finance on billing setup and invoicing
Hiring and developing staff to include the setting of objectives and performancereviews.
Provide coaching and guidance to team members about every aspect of theirassignments
Participate in Budget development and management revenue forecasting andperiodic updates and management of profit and loss
Work with Sales and Business Operations team to develop annual program usage andbenchmark report
Deliver program review to clients senior management
Assist sales team in discovering business opportunities outside of Job OrderContracting
Experience Requirements
Bachelors degree preferred in appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience.
Experience in Account Management/Customer Success in the Construction industry required
Knowledge of key conceptsincluding plans deliverables scope and tasks
Confident communication skills and demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with alllevels of internal and external organizations.
A focus on relationships able to gain trust through communication expectation settingand completion of planned deliverables.
Sound decision making analytical and organizational skills in a fastpaced environment; a consultative approach to managing complex client relationships.
Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities balancing client deliverables on multipleprojects as well as internal obligations.
Working knowledge and experience in the preparation and process of construction biddocuments.
The ability to communicate effectively with team members and across the organization.
Experience identifying client or staffing issues and the ability to create effectivesolutions as well as the knowledge of when to escalate.
A valid US drivers license This is a remote role however candidate will require activity out in the field up to 80% (Atlanta metro area)
