Alden School is seeking exceptional candidates for the position of 35 Math Specialist for theschool year.
Responsibiliites include working closely with school administration to collect and analyze data to help drive instruction provide targeted instruction to students share best practices and professional resources with classroom teaching staff support families in order to promote mathematical experiences outside the school setting and work with district Mathematics Department to align mathematics curriculum across the district.
Requirements:
Current Certification in Elementary Education (16) w/ supplemental coursework in Mathematics or Mathematics (16) from the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education with SEI Endorsement
Collaborate with Administration to oversee and direct math tutors.
Bachelors Degree or higher from accredited college or university
Experience meeting the needs of diverse learners
Ability to plan and implement lessons that are aligned with Massachusetts Mathematics Curriculum Frameworks
Citizenship residency or work visa required

Salary based on the current Duxbury Teachers Contract.
