Position Overview
This person will be a member of the Sustaining Development Team. They would work on a combination patches and hotfixes to support our product suite. The test engineer will do manual and tool assisted testing of patches and hotfixes. The test engineer will participate in our daily scrum as well as other team scrums to stay aware of overall application changes.

Job Description
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Understand the scope/requirements of the projectfromrequirementsuser stories and interactions with the team.
- Identify conceptual/design/requirements andsoftware issues in early stage of testing and actively followup until resolved.
- Create modify and execute exploratory test scenarios with the goal of maximizing early defect discovery and eliminating issues discovered later
- Develop test tool or use off the shelf tools to increase productivity
- Support creation of automated regression tests or instructions for automation as per the teams definition of done
- Develop/enhance a model of the system components that the team works on
- Create maintain and execute test cases
- Create or modify test data
- Report status and escalate issues effectively
- Verify the accuracy of the product documentation
- Perform maintenance and upgrades to existing test environments
- Add value ina team environment consisting of crossfunctional members
- Ability to take direction from a Lead engineers and communicate issues and results in a timely manner.
- Comply with all applicable U.S. Food and Drug Administration (U.S. FDA) medical device regulatory requirements applicable ISO 13485 standard requirements and all other applicable laws regulations and standards.
Qualifications:
- BS degree or higher in a scientific engineering or clinical field
- Subfeature or component level QA responsibility
- Basic coding/scripting skills
- Knowledge of web software network and IT medical devices regulated environments
- Working knowledge of DICOM HL7 SQL Oracle IIS scripting JavaScript TFS MTM PACS
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Determination to obtain results
- Passionate about using technology to innovate in order to deliver the best clinician and patient experience
- Enjoys working in a team and viceversa
- Ability to handle fluctuating work loads
- Able to see the big picture as well perform detailed analyses
- Selfdirected and goal oriented
- Awareness of and advocate for industry best practices

1. DICOM protocol and toolkit IHE
2. Previous experience in back end PACS testing
Physical Requirements:
The position requires the ability to perform the following physical demands and/or have the listed capabilities:
- The ability to sit up 75100% of applicable work time.
- The ability to use your hands and fingers to feel and manipulate items including keyboards up to 100% of applicable work time.
- The ability to stand talk and hear for 25% of applicable work time.
- The ability to lift and carry up to ten pounds up to 20% of applicable work time.
- Close Vision: The ability to see clearly at twenty inches or less.
Travel:
- Occasional (up to 10%) travel may be required based on business need.
