As part of GWS KLAs global environmental health and safety (EHS) organization is driven to be a partner to leadership in support of the companys efforts to achieve its strategic growth customer and operating objectives and lead KLA to world class EHS performance. Our mission is to lead and enable the business and leverage EHS talents to achieve short and longterm business objectives. Our primary areas of strategic focus include of reducing risks to our employees eliminating serious injuries reducing wastes integration of EHS management systems.
The person in this role will:
- Provide day to day EHS support for site and the other locations in the region.
- Develop and implement local EHS policies programs and support the integration of corporate EHS policies.
- Partner with and lead managers supervisors and team leaders in incident investigations corrective action deployment and effectiveness evaluations.
- Conduct periodic audits related to the EHS management systems compliance and company policy/procedure conformance.
- Complete all required environmental safety and other regulatory reports per local requirements.
- Provide support advice and guidance to our field service teams working on customer sites.
- Be the EHS subject matter expert for the locations you support with excellent customer service.
- Analyze EHS performance metrics selfassessments and trends and respond in a proactive matter to prevent or minimize EHS incidents and monitor program / system status.
- Manage the sitelevel risk assessment process.
- Provide support to our ESG (sustainability) efforts for the sites under your span of control.
- Remain current on regulatory trends and provide updates to location management and corporate EHS as needed.
- Provide expert advice and guidance health safety and environmental management.
Minimum Qualifications
- 3 years of EHS experience in a manufacturing environment. (Desirable)
- Must be able to communicate effectively in both Italian and English.
- Experience working in a diverse fastpaced environment
- Must be proficient in MS Office programs
- Excellent project management skills and ability to work to commitments
- Candidates must be qualified as RSPP.
- Candidates should hold recognized Health Safety and/or Environmental management Professional certifications.
