Job Description

Job Summary:

HOUSE OF BLUES LAS VEGAS is looking for the ideal mixologist (i.e. experienced and creative bartender) to join in our musical shenanigans and rock their role with their exceptional bartending skills.

Are you the keeper of secrets everyones goto shrink for the night or perhaps youre the charmer of the scene an expert at following the HalfFull rule of cocktail standardsif youre the RIGHT mix pour us another!

Qualifications:
Required:
(State or County Licensee or Certification Requirement)/ Responsible Alcohol Awareness Training Certification or Equivalent

Ability to work late hours

Flexible schedule Cash handling experience

Must be able to lift or move up to 25 lbs using proper lifting techniques

Skill in interpersonal communication and teamwork

Physically able to pass a pour test and a mixology drill (timed)

Ability to deal with intoxicated guests in a positive and safety minded manner

Tolerance of all cultures music and art forms

Responsible Alcohol Awareness Training Certification or Equivalent

Preferred:

4 years work experience in high volume environment

Experience recognizing valid IDs

Experience in a live music environment

Physical Demands/Working Environment:
Working environment is fastpaced often loud and stressful

Position requires extended periods of prolonged standing and working on your feet

Must be able to lift or move up to 25 lbs. using proper lifting techniques
