Summary

Great Southern Wood Preserving Inc. makers of Yellawood brand Pressure Treated Pine is seeking a Groundskeeper. This individual will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of bathrooms breakrooms and production areas by performing the following duties. This is a fulltime position offering competitive pay and a full benefits package.

Essential Duties:

• Plumbing repairs (e.g. fixing leaks unclogging drains replacing faucets)
• Electrical repairs (e.g. replacing light bulbs)
• Carpentry work (e.g. basic framing installing shelves repairing doors and windows)
• Painting and drywall repair
• Appliance troubleshooting and minor repairs
• Minor HVAC maintenance (e.g. changing filters)
• Floor repairs (e.g. tile laminate)
• General building maintenance
• Perform routine grounds maintenance such as mowing trimming edging and fertilizing lawns.
• Plant and maintain flowers shrubs trees and other landscaping elements.
• Remove weeds leaves and debris from lawns walkways parking areas and other exterior spaces.
• Maintain the cleanliness of sidewalks driveways and parking lots through sweeping blowing and other methods.
• Assist with snow removal and ice control including shoveling plowing (if applicable) and applying deicing agents.
• Perform minor repairs and maintenance on groundskeeping equipment such as lawnmowers trimmers and blowers.
• Ensure that all tools and equipment are properly stored and maintained.
• Monitor the property for any safety hazards and report them to the appropriate personnel.
• Dispose of waste and recyclables properly.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area including storage sheds or maintenance rooms.

Education and/or Experience:

No prior experience or training. High School diploma preferred.
