Job Description
Elk Island Public Schools (EIPS) is one of the largest school divisions in Alberta serving the educational needs of approximately 17950 students in 42 schools. EIPS is recruiting a parttime Grade 2 Teacher at Heritage Hills Elementary.
Heritage Hills Elementaryserves approximately 490 students in kindergarten the Grade 6 with 25 teaching staff and nine support staff. The school is located in Sherwood Park AB.
Heritage Hills Elementary is a dualtrack school offering programming in English and French Immersion. The school strives to help every child be a successful selfmotivated learner in a safe and caring school environment. The goal is to empower students to be lifelong learners in a changing world.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Education degree
- Valid Alberta Teaching Certificate
- Excellent communication skills in both French and English
- Effective organization and classroom management skills
- Ability to create a classroom environment where students feel safe supported and challenged
- Excellent verbal and written skills
- Experience or familiarity with analyzing data and using data to inform decisions and/or instruction
- Strong collaboration and teamwork skills
- Growth mindset and ability to use feedback to improve practice
- Relentless drive to set and achieve personal and professional goals
