This is a remote position.
Schedule:
- 40 hours per week
- Monday to Friday 9AM to 6PM
- Includes 1 hour unpaid break

Job Description
We re seeking a talented Social Media Specialist to play a pivotal role in our digitalfirst marketplace. This dynamic position combines creative social media management with precise database administration. You ll be responsible for building our social media presence across platforms while helping construct and maintain our comprehensive surfboard database. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys both creative content creation and systematic data organization. As an early team member you ll have significant input in shaping our digital strategy and building our community of surf enthusiasts.
Responsibilities
- Create engaging social media content using Adobe Photoshop and other creative tools
- Develop and maintain a consistent posting schedule across social platforms
- Monitor and engage with community through comments and direct messages
- Research and document detailed specifications for surfboard brands and models
- Build and maintain comprehensive product database
- Track and analyze social media metrics and engagement
- Curate and repost relevant surfing events and content
- Implement social media growth strategies
- Manage content calendar and posting schedule
- Assist in developing platform s digital presence and community
Requirements
- Proven experience with social media management and content creation
- Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and social media management tools
- Strong attention to detail and data entry accuracy
- Excellent English communication skills
- Experience with database management and data organization
- Selfmotivated with ability to work independently
- Reliable internet connection and appropriate home office setup
- Understanding of social media best practices and trends
- Ability to maintain consistent brand voice
- Interest in surfing culture and equipment (preferred)
- Experience with community management
