Job Description

On behalf of our client we are looking for a Commi Chef to join their team in Bahrain.

Job Responsibilities

Assist in food preparation and cooking under the supervision of senior kitchen staff.

Follow recipes and guidelines to prepare ingredients cook dishes and plate food items.

Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen including workstations and equipment.

Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards to ensure the safety of food products.

Support the kitchen team in various tasks such as stocking ingredients and cleaning dishes.

Learn and develop culinary skills through handson training and mentorship.

Assist in menu planning recipe development and food presentation as needed.

Requirements

Previous experience in a kitchen setting or culinary education is preferred.

Basic knowledge of cooking techniques food safety practices and kitchen equipment.

Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and collaborate effectively with team members.

Strong attention to detail and a passion for food preparation and presentation.

Willingness to learn and take direction from senior kitchen staff.

Flexibility to work evenings weekends and holidays as required.

Culinary certification or training is a plus.
