Project Cost Accountant

Your Role at a Glance

Project Cost Management & Invoicing

• Partner with Project Managers to review data and generate timely accurate invoices
• Use BST (our ERP platform) to track manage and streamline project costs
• Manage accounts receivable with proactive followup and issue resolution
• Reconcile and analyze project financials to identify trends and address potential concerns

Financial Insight & Integrity

• Develop metrics that give Project Managers clear visibility into budgets and forecasts
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal controls to maintain financial accuracy

Collaboration Training & Process Improvement

• Contribute to firmwide financial strategies and decisionmaking alongside leadership
• Translate data into actionable insights for teams across the company
• Maintain and update ERP and financial process training materials
• Lead process improvements that drive efficiency and empower teams
• Provide training and support to project teams on financial best practices

Qualifications :

What You Bring to the Role

• 38 years of experience in accounting finance or a related field
• Associate or bachelors degree with a solid foundation in financial principles
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to spot patterns and identify areas for improvement
• Comfortable collaborating across departments and communicating financial concepts clearly
• Skilled in simplifying complex accounting processes into actionable steps
• Proficient in Excel (reporting and analysis) with working knowledge of PowerPoint and Word
• Selfstarter with a process improvement mindset and a history of implementing solutions
• Highly organized detailoriented and able to manage multiple priorities
• Trusted team player who handles sensitive information with integrity
• Adaptable and independent while thriving in a collaborative teamoriented culture
• Experience with BST or working in a professional services or projectbased firm is a plus

Additional Information :

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

• Duties are typically performed in a normal office environment while sitting at a desk or computer table
• Ability to actively engage with a computer for several hours per day and communicate over the telephone or virtual meeting platforms.
• May occasionally need to lift items up to 15 lbs.
• This is an inoffice role based in downtown Seattle with flexible hours between 7:00 am and 5:00 pm

Compensation & Recognition
We offer a competitive base salary aligned with your skills experience and background. For candidates with 38 years of relevant experience the typical salary range is $75000$90000. We also recognize individual and team success through performancebased bonuses at the Reporting Center level.
