Job Description
As a Senior Risk Manager you will spearhead operational excellence and automation initiatives within our Compliance and Safety program. This pivotal role focuses on optimizing processes reducing operational expenses (OpEx) and implementing automation solutions to enhance our risk management capabilities.
The Senior Risk Manager will develop and execute strategies to reduce OpEx while maintaining compliance and safety standards lead automation projects and collaborate with crossfunctional teams to improve processes and reduce costs. Youll analyze workflows develop AIdriven solutions and oversee the integration of new technologies into existing systems.
Key responsibilities include managing automated risk assessment tools developing KPIs engaging stakeholders and staying current with industry trends. This role offers an exciting opportunity to drive innovation and efficiency in Amazons risk management practices directly impacting the companys bottom line while ensuring the highest standards of compliance and safety. Key job responsibilities
Develop and execute strategies to reduce OpEx while maintaining or improving compliance and safety standards
Lead the design and implementation of automation projects to streamline risk management processes
Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction
Analyze current workflows and develop AIdriven solutions to enhance efficiency and accuracy
Oversee the integration of new technologies such as machine learning and natural language processing into existing risk management systems
Manage and optimize the performance of automated risk assessment and mitigation tools
Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of automation initiatives and OpEx reduction efforts
Engage with stakeholders to ensure alignment on automation goals and strategies
Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies in risk management and compliance automation

Bachelors degree or equivalent
Knowledge of Microsoft Office products and applications at an advanced level
6 years of program management experience from beginning to end
Experience building crossfunctional partnerships and influencing stakeholders across the organization to act without having a direct reporting relationship
Experience working with data and making data driven decisions
Experience handling confidential information
Demonstrated experience setting direction and delivering detailoriented results in environments with frequently shifting priorities
Masters degree or equivalent
Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification
6 years of compliance audit or risk management experience
Experience in operations investigations risk management incident or crisis management or handling escalations
Excellent oral and written communication skills including the ability to clearly communicate complex and technical subject matter to a diverse group of stakeholders
Experience at consulting firms or equivalent
Professional auditing qualification or similar risk or compliance credentials
Experience working with geographically distributed teams within a complex international organization

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $109000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on jobrelated knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
