The Digital Business Integration team is responsible for identifying estimating and delivering all digital activities related to Pfizers acquisitions collaborations and divestitures. These initiatives span and are executed across the Pfizer enterprise including Commercial R&D Global Supply and Enabling Function organizations. The success of these programs is crucial to capturing and creating value within Pfizers overall business development portfolio.
In this role the Senior Director of Deal Execution will lead and manage multiple concurrent deals building and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders at all levels including senior executives. The focus will be on managing Business Integration deals from the signed phase through the close and execution phases. This role demands polish executive presence balance broad business and pharmaceutical industry experience and relentless enthusiasm for serving patients even indirectly.
The position will work directly for the Vice President CTIES Business Integration and Real Estate and partner closely with the Digital Business Integration Strategy & Alliances Lead.
What You Will Achieve
In this role you will:
Manage teams of direct reports and supporting teams across both Digital and the business to complete detailed integration plans for acquisitions and Digital separation plans for divestitures.
Leverage extensive expertise and indepth knowledge of Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) within a global digital environment to lead acquisition alliance and divestiture programs across all facets of Pfizers business lines.
Focus specifically on the postclose integration or separation phase of deals. This position is both a leader of leaders and individual contributors providing crossfunctional direction and coordination.
Ensure successful program implementation through oversight and review of the portfolio of Business Integration programs.
Set strategic direction for deal execution plans.
Manage detailed Digital plans and financial budgets (for Acquisitions or Divestitures) while supporting external organizations including monitoring management issue and relationship management with Pfizer and our partners leadership teams.
Provide direct people management for 6 permanent colleagues and 25 secondees ensuring clarity around priorities and goals completing performance assessments and conducting growth conversations.

Also responsible for indirect management of matrixed colleagues supporting the deal from many Digital lines. Also responsible for thirdparty consulting resources >50 per deal.
Manage a program portfolio of $25250M.
Responsible for the Networking and Infrastructure domain for inscope deals; including leading the development and maintenance of integration patterns cost estimating tools and playbooks across CTIES outlining the steps required to integrate merge or divest a company or partner.
Partner with organizations such as Digital & PX where crossfunctional teams are required to deliver on a unified end user experience for in scope deals.
Drive the identification and advancement of new and innovative concepts processes and strategies to solve digital integration/divestiture work.
Define strategic direction and hold accountability for business performance and financial management within an Enterprise or Division
Develop resourcing strategies for people technology and finance addressing resource implications across other business segments
Foster a culture of inclusion knowledge sharing and support colleague development while leveraging organizational capabilities
Promote continuous improvement and innovation determining acceptable risk levels
Lead in creating solutions for complex problems influence Enterprise decisions and prioritize emerging business issues and challenge
Create and implement Enterprise or Divisions strategy and business plans and participate in the development of Enterprise strategy and business plans
Here Is What You Need (Minimum Requirements)
BS in Computer Sciences Information Systems Engineering Sciences or a related field.
12 years of experience implementing IT systems with largescale multiyear program/project implementation.
Direct experience in leading and managing a largescale Pfizer Business Integration projects (e.g. experience leading strategy design and implementation of acquisition divestiture collaboration and partner integration efforts).
Excellent financial and budget management experience managing $25250M.
People management experience including leading and developing leaders.
Ability to work across multiple concurrent activities and successfully adapt to changing priorities as required.
Excellent communication and presentation skills with solid PowerPoint expertise. Role will present to Senior Level Executives across Pfizer and external parties.
Excellent project management skills with a track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget

Masters degree
Relevant pharmaceutical industry experience
Ability to influence senior management on deal specific decisions and actions.

PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS
Capability to conduct site visits which may require extensive walking based on the sites size and layout.

Domestic and International travel of 1025% as required to support global Business Integration and real estate teams real estate initiatives.

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $204700.00 to $341100.00.* In addition this position is eligible for participation in Pfizers Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 22.5% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program.
