Job Description

What a day in the life of a Plumber at REV looks like:
- Cutting and threading pipes using pipe cutters cutting torch and pipe threading machine
- Bend pipes to the required angle by using a pipe bending machine or by bending by hand
- Join pipes by using screws bolts fittings solder plastic solvent and caulk joints
- Assemble and install valves pipe fittings and pipes
- Fill pipe systems with water or air and read pressure gauges to check for system leaks
Required education skills and experience to be successful:
- Preferred 12 years of plumbing experience
- Preferred high school diploma or GED
- Ability to read and understand plumbing drawings within the first 90 days of employment.
- Ability to read and use a tape measure for precise measurements
- Ability to use common hand tools and power tools such as drills and screw guns
- Ability to communicate professionally and follow directions
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Successful completion of the drug and background screening

- Frequent bending stooping squatting and climbing up and down ladders and scaffolding
- Ability to regularly lift and move 40 lbs. without assistance
- Ability to work with arms above head
- Ability to operate and understand the operation of all protective safety equipment in the area.
