Job Description
As a BI & Data Engineer you will be:
- Providing technical expertise in database/data system development and data infrastructure setup.
- Collecting/consolidating data from various sources and organizing them into usable formats.
- Using statistical tools to derive meaningful information/insights from raw business data and analyzing data to find answers to specific questions.
- Assessing quality and meanings of data and cleansing corrupted data for integrity and accuracy.
- Creating data visualizations and reports for other stakeholders to comprehend business facts and trends to make better decisions.
- Working with relevant stakeholders to identify process improvement opportunities propose system modifications and devise data governance strategies.
- Creating appropriate documentation that allows others to understand data analysis processes and steps to foster wide adoption of data processing techniques.
- Liaising with various departments and internal stakeholders to create collaborative work relationships understand their data requirements propose the solutions advocate the team values obtain their supports when required etc.
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree or above in engineering or equivalent disciplines.
- 3 years of experience as a data/BI analyst or in a related field with good understanding and handon experience in data warehouse development.
- Proven skills in Microsoft Power BI and Power Query Power Pivot Data Model DAX Visual Reporting etc.
- Proficient in Azure SQL database Data factory and common ELT/ETL tools.
- Good knowledge of relational database management system and SQL language.
- 5 years of experience in electronics manufacturing industry with good knowledge of electronics components and materials manufacturing operation and supply chain management.
- Good knowledge of Product BOM PLM and ERP systems SAP Oracle etc.
- Strong mathematical statistical and analytical skills the ability to analyze model and interpret data identify trends patterns and insights from data.
- Experience in Engineering Documentation & Control is desirable.
- Experience in Microsoft SharePoint Dataverse Lists Teams etc. is desirable.
- Attentiontodetails highstandard at quality and deliveries.
