Job Description:
Overview: We are seeking an experienced JD Edwards CNC (Configurable Network Computing) Specialist with a strong background in supporting iSeries environments. The ideal candidate will have at least 8 years of handson experience in JD Edwards ERP solutions and a demonstrated ability to manage and support CNC activities. This role requires flexibility to work night shifts supporting global operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- JD Edwards CNC Administration:
- Install configure and maintain JD Edwards EnterpriseOne applications for 9.2 release.
- Manage and troubleshoot JD Edwards environments including deployment servers enterprise servers and web servers.
- Apply ESUs ASUs and service packs as needed.
- iSeries Support:
- Perform daytoday management and support of IBM iSeries systems.
- Manage system backups recovery procedures and disaster recovery planning.
- Monitor system performance and implement tuning adjustments to ensure optimal operations.
- System Monitoring and Maintenance:
- Monitor server performance and maintain system integrity and availability.
- Conduct regular audits and ensure compliance with IT policies and procedures.
- Implement security patches and perform system upgrades.
- Troubleshooting and Support:
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for JD Edwards and iSeries systems.
- Collaborate with IT teams to resolve issues and improve system performance.
- Liaise with business users to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Project Management:
- Lead and participate in JD Edwards CNC projects and initiatives.
- Ensure all project timelines and deliverables are met.
- Document processes and maintain comprehensive system documentation.
