CED strives to pay a competitive wage in the industry and regional market. The pay range for this position is ($2025) for entry level. The benefit includes eligibility to participate in 1 of 3 different BCBS of IL medical plans Dental (SunLife) Vision (EyeMed) Life and Disability Insurance 401(k) with a generous 6% match on a 6% contribution 11 Paid Holidays 5 paid Sick Days (based on a full year of employment). Job TitleMaintenance Technician
Responsible for performing highly diversified duties in maintenance to install troubleshoot repair and maintain production and facility equipment according to safety planned maintenance systems and processes to support the achievement of the sites business goals and objectives. For this position we need jack of all trades but someone that is strong in HVAC.
Essential Job Functions:
1. Maintenance mechanic will perform highly diversified duties to install and maintain production machines and the plant facilitys equipment.
2. Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment and performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service.
3. Perform mechanic skills including but not limited to mechanical electrical pneumatic hydraulic troubleshooting and repair of production machines and facility equipment.
Basic Requirements:
1. Requires a high school diploma/GED and completion of a craft apprenticeship or an equivalent number of years of education and production maintenance experience;
2. An AA degree in mechanical electrical or industrial maintenance a plus;
3. 4 years of manufacturing experience; strong hydraulic pneumatic mechanical and industrial skills with some PLC experience and HVAC.

Working with industries where our parts are used we fall under multiple regulatory agencies. All CED Employees must meet the following minimum requirements.
Missile Defense Agency requires our employees be US Citizen US Person (permanent resident or granted status as a protected person under 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3) (refugee and asylum recipients)
Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco and Firearms requiring a stringent background screening
