About the Role
Essity is currently seeking a Project Engineer at our Manufacturing facility in Bowling Green KY.
This person will provide oversight management and leadership for engineering projects while collaborating with cross-functional teams. Lead diverse teams within the organization as well as external suppliers and contractors to deliver projects and initiatives with excellence

What You Will Do
Lead and support projects across the site from feasibility to project completion.
Justify prepare execute and deliver capital projects.
Apply proven project management principles to ensure projects are completed safely on time within budget and meet expected deliverables.
Design mechanical parts and assemblies as needed.
Provide mechanical expertise to support other functional areas within the site.
Generate technical requirement specifications for new equipment.
Lead and support a wide range of projects including facilities production and support equipment.
Manage contractors in compliance with all Essity safety and environmental policies.
Who You Are
- Bachelors degree in engineering (mechanical engineering preferred).
- Engineering experience in a manufacturing setting.
- Minimum two years of project management experience.
- Proficient with drafting or 3D modelling software.
- Understanding of building codes safety regulations and compliance requirements.
- Familiar with factory support systems (HVAC compressors heat exchangers etc.).
- Ability to lead and manage cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
