Job Summary:
The Material Handler is responsible for safely loading unloading and moving materials within or near the site.
Starting Pay: $19.85 can be adjusted with experience.
First Shift Schedule: 10 days on from 6am to 5pm followed by 4 days off.
What you will do:
- At SPM Oil & Gas our primary objective is to provide our customers with excellent engineering solutions through our products and superior customer service
- Unload stock and inventory all deliveries
- Assist with new orders and cycle counts
- Read and understand standard work and risk assessments
- Exhibits equipment and product understanding
- Counts weighs secures tags palettize and stacks materials and maintains accurate records of material movement
- Assist service operations with pulling and picking parts
- Performs other job duties as assigned
What you will have:
- Minimum of three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Prior experience operating a forklift

Physical Demands:
- Frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger handle or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear
- Required to sit; climb or balance and stoop kneel crouch or crawl
- Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision distance vision color vision peripheral vision depth perception and ability to adjust focus
- Must be able to wear protective footwear and other Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required by the department
Work Environment:
- Regularly exposed to fumes or airborne particles
- Frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts and outside weather conditions
- Occasionally exposed to high precarious places and vibration
- Noise Level: Moderate

Summary Pay Range:
$19.85 $26.55Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors job level market locationjobrelated knowledge skills individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
