What is Summit Academy Summit Academy is a small private and therapeutic special education day school off of Salisbury Street in Worcester MA. We currently have a total of 25 students in our school ranging from K through 12th grade. Our student population has diagnoses of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) as well as other related diagnoses. Here at Summit Academy we use Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) strategies and techniques under the supervision of our Special Education Director and our BoardCertified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). These strategies assist our students in accessing the curriculum following school rules and directions decreasing challenging behaviors learning different ways to cope with difficult situations and engage with peers and staff using appropriate social skills.
